The fabulous Rose Beach of Budelli Island It owes its name to the sand color, rich in coral fragments, shells of shellfish and tiny granite bits. Its fame is due, in addition to its beauty, to the film “Deserto Rosso” by Michelangelo Antonioni, who in 1964 used it to set up some scenes in the Budelli arena. The beach, and the whole island, located within the National Park of the Archipelago of La Maddalena, geomorphic nature, constitute an invaluable natural resource, rich in flora and fauna endemics.
